Hello friends!

I must admit it. I am new to this "blogging thing." But I'm willing to learn what they are all about. My name is Mairéad (Irish for "Margaret") and I am a college student. I'm not sure what I want to do or what I want to be "when I grow up"...but one thing is for certain. I'll be climbing this "ivy wall" until the day I know what I want--what I want to achieve. As soon as I've reached the other side of that wall, I know it will be one breath-taking sight...but right now, I'm ready to take whatever God blesses me with and I will strive to be what He wants me to be. Although it is a struggle, I love this "ivy wall"...I have found many friends and hobbies between the viridity of the twisting and twining plant. I know when the time is right, I'll be able to stand atop that wall: my family and friends behind and around me, my future and life-changing choice in front of me, and God...well God will surround me.
What my blog's about: I'm kind of an artsy person...I love to write poetry and short stories, so expect a lot of that! I'll also be posting original photography and artwork, and maybe a video or two now and then!
